Who says you can’t get a delicious meal for under $10.00. J&W Grocery and Restaurant is a great place to get a meal. This plate of season or white rice with beans and stewed chicken is $8.00. At lunchtime all the construction workers line up for their special priced meals.

Wanda Belardo, the energetic owner of this establishment, greets all her customers with the biggest smile. This hideaway is a favorite for locals as well as visitors alike. The main menu consists of Puerto Rican favorites like Spanish season rice and beans, yucca, green banana, Lechon. They also offer conch in butter sauce, shrimp scampi, baked chicken, stew chicken, fried pork chops, stew beef, potato stuffing, coleslaw and baked macaroni with cheese. Fresh lobster is available on Thursdays.
